Notes Granite Celtic cross on three low steps. The cross is decorated with bronze relief panels (designed by Rowand Anderson), representing various stages of Christ's Passion, the Resurrection and the Ascension (eight in total), plus six acts of charity (three on each side of the shaft of the cross). There are also decorative panels on all sides of the cross, the designs taken from Jedburgh Abbey.
