Archaeological Notes
NO40SE 227 48549 01350.
This steading is rectangular plan and comprises three detached ranges. The ranges have been gutted and roofed over by a portal framed shed. The original external walls of the ranges have been retained. Additions to the steading include an early twentieth-century implement shed, hay barn, poultry house and potato store. The steading was in agricultural use and in good order when surveyed.
Visited and surveyed by RCAHMS (GJD), October 1995; NMRS MS 744/111.
