Parish Church, 1684, enlarged 1767. Steep, tree-lined brae leads to this plain T-plan kirk, harled with old surface-granite dressings at jambs and dark granite voussoirs above. Three pointed windows on north side. Partial reconstruction, 1861, William Smith; alterations, 1886, Matthews & Mackenzie; organ installed, 1897, William Kelly; interior recast, 1954, George Bennet Mitchell & Son; some good stained glass.

Meldrum Parish Church (C of S) [NAT]

Ecclesiastical building in regular use as such. T-plan parish church, early Gothic in present form. Harled with old surface granite dressings at jambs; voussoirs above dark granite, dressings of quarried granite. Three N windows, wood tracery and asymmentrical bellcote.

Built 1684, enlarged 1767, reconstructed 1861 and 1954. Architects: William Smith 1861, Mathews and Mackenzie 1886; G B Mitchell and Son 1954.
