RAF Grutness (Compass Head) WWII Chain Home Low and Chain Home Extra Low Radar Station

The site seems to mainlty called Grutness but there are some references to Compass Head. Grutness appears to be the official RAF name.

The Chain Home Low was moved here from Sumburgh and later a Type 30 10cm Chain Home Extra Low radar was added.

IFF tower base

Main building now used by CAA NATS
