An enclosure and a length of wall are depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Inverness-shire 1875-6, sheet clviii). A roofed building and a length of wall are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1973).

Information from RCAHMS (SAH) 10 September 1996

NM 7500 6848. Motte. An oval knoll, c 50 x 35m, is crowned by two small irregular contiguous structures, with low walls of turf and water-rolled stones, measuring c 4 x 2m and 4 x 5m. Part-way down, a slight scarp, defined in places by large stones, may mark the remains of a timber rampart.
