Archaeological Notes

Cnoc a'Mhinistir is a large natural knoll(Nosas Site Survey No 404) now planted with immature mixed woodland (part of a pheasant enclosure). There was no obvious evidence for a graveyard or burial ground located W of the knoll as noted in 1904, other than a flattish area that may indicate some terracing.
