This farmstead, which is situated at 220m OD on the SW side of Milquhanzie Hill, comprises two buildings with an enclosure to the W. The larger building (EARN96 202) measures 11.3m from WNW to ESE by 4.7m transversely within walls 0.8m in thickness and up to 1.8m in height. The entrance is on the SSW. There is an outshot or extension at the WNW end, which measures 9.6m by 4.5m internally and is divided into two compartments, each with an entrance on the SSW. The other building (EARN96 20) stands immediately W of the first, and is set at a right angle to it. It measures 10.2m from NNE to SSW by 3.7m transversely within walls which survive to a height of 1.5m. It has opposed entrances on the ESE and WNW, suggesting that it served as a barn. There are two successive outshots on the SSW end and a subrectangular enclosure is attached to the WNW side.
This farmstead is named Upper Craigintore and depicted, roofed, on the first edition of the OS 6-inch map (Perthshire 1866, sheet xcv). The Name Book describes it as 'a small farmsteading, dwelling house and offices one story in height, thatched and in bad repair'. Both buildings are shown roofless on the 2nd edition of the OS map (Perthshire 1901, sheet xcv NE).
