This rubbing stone, which is depicted on both the 2nd edition of the OS 6-inch map (Aberdeenshire, 1901, sheet lxiii.NE) and on the modern 1:10,000 map (1976), has been removed. It stood in an arable field 380m WNW of Upper Todlachie farmsteading (NJ61SE 42) and was one of six rubbing stones (NJ61SE 44-9) which stood between the steadings of Upper Todlachie and Newfolds (NJ61SE 50.00).
