(NJ 2208 6315) North College formerly the Deanery (NR)

OS 25" map, (1868)

The deanery or more probably the Manse of Inverkeithing is represented by the house long known as "The College". Although much altered, the greater part of it, if not exactly medieval, is of considerable age.

The house is of L-plan, with vaulted ground floor, some moulded windows and, on the north face, corbelled chimney stacks.

R Cant and I G Lindsay 1954.

This is now a private residence, the oldest part being the north wing. Generally as described by R Cant and I G Lindsay 1954.

Visited by OS (R D L) 12 December 1962.
