Partick West Station, built c. 1896 for the Lanarkshire and Dumbartonshire Rly. Situated at the junction of lines to Dumabrton and Maryhill, this station had two platforms on each line, with a semicircular-fronted office in the angle. There was access to Meadow Road and Dumbarton Road by subway.

Partick West station was opened on 1 May 1896 by the Lanarkshire and Dumbartonshire Rly, which has amalgamated into the Caledonian Rly. It closed to regular passenger traffic on 5 October 1964.
