NJ71NE 40 c. 79 16.

Nine pointed implements of flint,from 1 inch to 1 3/4 inches (25 to 44mm) in length, probably borers, found at Kintore [name: NJ 79 16], were purchased for the Museum of the Society of Antiquaries, 1892.

Proc Soc Antiq Scot 1893.

(Classification amended to flint borers). There are ten flint borers from Kintore in the Royal Museum of Scotland (NMS AB 568-677); they were donated to the Museum in 1892 from the Rae Collection.
