NJ72NE 94.02 7600 2665

In 1998 a small 18th century sundial was found immediately E of the former stable at Cuttlecraigs farmsteading (NJ72NE 94.00). It is a limestone block measuring 228mm square by up to 28mm in thickness; its vane is missing from the upper surface, which is inscribed with the dates '1766' and '1767', and the initials 'IG'.
The sundial remains in the possession of the farmer at Cuttlecraigs.
