(Undated) information in NMRS.

Built in 1593 and restored in 1954, this is a small building, with a projecting tower in the centre with, at its side, a courtyard enclosed by ashlar wall with a fine moulded doorway. There is a shield above each window and corbelling around the tower. The gable is finished with plain skews and an iron finial.

Turners were found when repairs were being carried out on this house. Architect: George Johnstone. The E section is the earlier; the W section is of 18th century date and has an arcade and five bays (see NJ90NW 196.)
