A pillbox has been recorded from RAF vertical air photographs (106G/Scot/UK 33, 4081-2, flown 25 April 1946) immediately E of a fence line and 150m E of the Meteorological Station. The pillbox forms part of the coastal defences which include the line of anti-tank blocks.
