Stone [NAT]

OS 1:10,000 map, 1990.

This boundary marker lay on the northern perimeter of the old barracks of the Gordon Highlanders and is depicted on the OS 1:25,000 map (1962). It is a flat-topped concrete block, measuring 0.4m square and about 0.7m in height. On it NW face, 'No.7' is impressed beneath the initials WD and an upward facing arrow, thus signifying that this was the boundary of a War Department property.

Visited by RCAHMS (JRS), 14 August 2002.
