(Location of loss cited as N57 30.0 W1 46.5).

I G Whittaker 1998.

(Location re-entered as NK c. 1366 4583). The location assigned to this record is essentially tentative. The West Pier is probably to be equated with that defining the W side of the entrance to the S Harbour. The Harbour Office (NK14NW 128.15) and the Lighthouse or Beacon on the pier (NK14NW 128.16) are at NK 13633 45844 and NK 13632 45826 respectively. The current edition of the OS (GIS) AIB notes the South Harbour at [Name Centred] NK 1370 4594.

The location cited by Whittaker for this loss remains unverified.
