Accessing Scotland's Past Project

Rose Cottage stands immediately to the east of the former Free Church in Swinton, forming the west end of a terraced row which overlooks the north-east part of The Green.

Of early nineteenth-century date, it stands two storeys high, and is fronted with coursed rubble and roofed in slate. Its chimney-stacks are of brick, a feature commonly found on late eighteenth- and early nineteenth-century buildings.
