Angus McDonald and William Telford awarded Bronze Medal and Thanks of Board of Trade respectively for assisting in the rescue. John McKay and 9 other fishermen awarded salvage out of the proceedings from the sale of wreck. Sums paid out of the Mercantile Marine Fund towards Saving Life from Shipwreck.

(No classification, cargo or date of loss cited). Thorwaldsen (Torrivolsen?): this vessel was wrecked near Betty Hill [Bettyhill]. Capt. Berg. (Liverpool ship (W) 907nrt Built 1851?)

Registration: Norwegian.

(Location of loss cited as N58 32.0 W4 20.0).
