The inclusion of this wreck by Larn and Larn within their section DC ('North-east Scotland') is anomalous. The Pentland Skerries fall within the administrative area of Orkney, and this wreck is assigned accordingly to the quasi-administrative area of Maritime - Orkney.
Whittaker apparently equates this record with the wreck of the same name and date (NL72SE 8002) on Mackenzie's Rock, Skerryvore (NL c. 798 226: N56 17.3 W7 06.9).
