Accessing Scotland's Past Project

No 52 Horsemarket is a two-storeyed building probably dating from the mid-nineteenth century. It is built of coursed rubble with ashlar dressings (dressed masonry used around windows and doors) including a first-floor sill-course (a band of projecting stonework running at window sill height).
