Accessing Scotland's Past Project

No 26 Abbey Court is a rectangular house situated in a long L-plan range of two-storeyed properties, each with an attic and basement, probably dating from the early nineteenth-century. It is built of coursed rubble with ashlar dressings (dressed stonework used around the windows and doors). It also has a flight of railed steps leading up to its front door and a bellcast roof (that is, the roof flattens out toward the edges, giving it a vaguely bell-shaped appearance).
