In the Wellclose off Kirk Street, was a draw-well known as St. Philip's Well.

A B Barty 1944.

A well was rediscovered behind the Dunblane Cathedral Museum at NN 7819 0133 about two years ago. This may be the well referred to above (Information from Helen A Lamb, Hon Sec, Friends of Dunblane Cathedral) The names Wellclose and St Philip's Well are not known locally.
