Source: PP Abstracts of Shipping Casualties on Coasts, or in Rivers and Harbours of the UK July 1887-88 (1889 [C.5730] LXIX.597).

NMRS, MS/829/68 (no. 1721).

The location assigned to this record is essentially arbitrary. 'Craigmore pier' is not indicated as such on the 1995 edition of the OS 1:50,000 map, but is probably to be equated with Craigmore Old Pier (NS16NW 72) which extends from NS 10310 65510 to NS 10319 65478.

Information from RCAHMS (RJCM), 21 August 2002.
