(Location cited as NK 0371 6073 and name as Cairness). Air photography (AAS/03/2/CT/2-5, 7, flown 10 July 2003) has recorded the cropmarks of an area of rig and furrow in the field to the S of Cairness House (NK06SW 23.00). Part of a rectilinear enclosure appears (in part as a cropmark and in part through differential crop growth) in the SE corner of the same field.
