Glasgow, 18th Sept., the PHOENIX (smack), Beaton, from Ardrossan to Millport, with coal, went ashore, yesterday, at Portincross [Portencross]: it is supposed that she sprung a leak, and was run ashore to save the vessel and cargo: her mast only is seen at high water.
