Activities

Field Visit (12 May 2015)

The Glasgow Humane Society was founded in 1790, with the aim of saving lives on the River Clyde and its work continues today. In addition to the two-storey officer’s house (NS60013 64079) at the SE corner of Glasgow Green, there is an adjacent boathouse (NS59934 64071), with slipways, mooring pontoons, a storage yard and sheds.

Visited by RCAHMS (AGCH, GLB) 12 May 2015.
