Peterhead, 19th Nov. 'The LIVERPOOL PACKET, of and from Aberdeen, for Glasgow, in taking the South Harbour this evening during a gale, went on shore on the rocks near the entrance, and is expected to become a wreck.'

The location assigned to this record is essentially tentative. The current edition of the OS (GIS) AIB notes the South Harbour at [Name Centred] NK 1370 4594. It remains uncertain whether or not the vessel was lost near or within this restricted area.
