Daltangan Viaduct: this viaduct (N of Barrhill) was badly damaged prior to opening, during floods on the night of 26/27 September 1875.

This viaduct carries the Girvan-Stranraer portion of the Glasgow-Ayr-Stranraer (main) line of the formner Glasgow and South Western Rly over the Daltangan Burn to the N of Barrhill station (NX28SW 58).

The location assigned to this record defines the apparent midpoint of the structure. The available map evidence indicates that it extends from NX c. 21708 83138 to NX c. 21741 83099.
