Archaeology Notes

NO16SW 1 10 61.

A stone cist was found in a peat-moss at Ashintully beside which was a knife or dagger, apparently a natural formation of mica-schist adapted as an implement. It was donated to the Society of Antiquaries of Scotland in 1852.
