NLO: Dunbar [name: NT 678 790].

Dunbar, 6th Apl. The NORWICH TRADER, of Yarmouth, Baldwin, has sunk in the harbour: her cargo, cotton-cake, is being discharged, very much damaged.

Source: LL, No. 16,221, London, Monday, April 9 1866.

NMRS, MS/829/72 (no. 11037).

The location assigned to this record is essentially tentative. This vessel most probably sank within Victoria Harbour (NT67NE 147, at cited location NT 6799 7932), which forms the largest element within the harbour complex.

The loss of this vessel is not cited by I G Whittaker (1998), possibly suggesting her successful recovery.

Information from RCAHMS (RJCM), 6 February 2009.
