Archaeological Notes

2 rectangular building platforms (Nosas Site Survey Nos.482 and 483) at NH 1840 4991 situated on the N side of River Meig facing E toward Coire Mhoraigein. Both are scarped into the E facing lea slope in a sheltered position and measure 2.5m x 1.5m 4m x 3m respectively,they are probably stances for timber buildings associated with the sporting estate.
