The current edition of the OS (GIS) MasterMap applies the name Findhorn Bay to a relatively small area of nearly-enclosed water between Findhorn, Forres and Kinloss.
This aircraft presumably crashed on taking-off from RAF Kinloss (NJ06SE 76: Kinloss Airfield), which is situated on the E side of Kinloss Bay, around NJ 0690 6300.
