OS 6" map, Forfarshire, 2nd ed., (1860)

'John Hood (Milton of Tealing) who pointed out the site of this cave or subterraneous passage, states that it was supposed to be a vault or passage in the interior of a chapel (NO43NW 13) which was attached to Tealing House. About 60 years since while the workmen were destroying it, they found a gold ring bearing a Latin inscription'.

Name Book 1860.

No trace.
