Archaeology Notes

NO44SW 6 407 402.

A small, flat piece of grey sandstone, 9" square with 4 cups and a ring on one side, and 5 cups on the other, found on Tealing Hill (NO 407 402) near the large cup marked boulder (NO44SW 7) is in the possession of W McNicoll, overseer, Tealing House.

J R Allen 1881.

The estate of Tealing House has been broken up and the cup marked stone has been lost.

Visited by OS (R D) 8 December 1967.
