Stone type: Old Red Sandstone

Place of discovery: NO 52263 55900

Present location: in situ beside the road at Aberlemno.

Evidence for discovery: the stone was first recorded by Pennant in 1772.

Present condition: very weathered.

Description

There are traces of circular motifs incised on this tapering slab, possibly representing a mirror symbol.

Date range: seventh century.
