Archaeology Notes

NO64SW 82 c. 642 412

Four objects of green glass, square in section approximately 1" (0.03m) high and tapering upwards with a deep circular socket in the top, were found in the foundations of old houses in St Thomas Street. The objects, now in Royal Museum of Scotland (RMS), were probably associated with the weaving industry.

Proc Soc Antiq Scot 1938; SBS Arbroath 1982.
