Field Visit (September 1978)

NR45SE 32 c. 458 508

In 1867 the partial excavation of a mound close to Kildalton Church (NR45SE 3.00) revealed both an 'urn', containing fragments of what seems to have been cremated bone, and a 'stone coffin'.

RCAHMS 1984, visited September 1978.
