(NR 6528 5096) A rough-out of a flint implement, possibly a Secondary Neolithic polished ceremonial adze-head, was found at the edge of a field called High Glen, on the farm of Drumyeonmore, by Angus McVeen, a former ferryman. He gave it to A.Leckie of Paisley, who presented it to Paisley Museum in 1950 (Acc No 17/1950). It is 7 3/4 ins long by 1 13/16 ins broad, 1 3/8 ins thick and mottled greyish-brown in colour.
