(Centred NS 32971 79775) Keppoch was the property of Stirling of Glorat in 1545. In the following century it passed to the Ewings. In 1820 a new mansion was built on the property.

The house built by the Ewings superseded an old peel tower of fortalice of an earlier generation.

There is no trace of an earlier building in any part of the present 19th century house of Keppoch.
