Activities

Change Of Classification (29 July 2021)

There is nothing at this location to indicate the presence of a stone circle and as such this classification has been removed.

Visited by HES Survey and Recording (ARG, GLB), 29 July 2021.

Field Visit (29 July 2021)

A small stone of Lewisian gneiss stands in a shallow hollow with chocking stones exposed around its base. It measures 0.5m in width and 0.3m in thickness and stands no more than 0.8 in height. While there are other large stones in the vicinity, none form a coherent pattern indicating the presence of a stone circle or the foundations of a structure. A stretch of boulder wall 29m long was recorded about 44m to the E on the date of visit.

Visited by HES Survey and Recording (ARG, GLB), 29 July 2021.
