Archaeology Notes

(NS 7936 9370) The two lodgings which form the double corner of Broad Street and St Mary's Wynd belonged to John and Neil Forrester. They are almost entire and still occupied (1902) and are the most complete of the few mansions now left of the nobility at the time of the Court in Stirling Castle. The date of their erection may be about 1520.

J S Fleming 1902

This site is now occupied by a modern building, the present owner of which knows nothing of the previous building.
