Gormyre Refuge Stone (Near infra-red)

This is a NIR shot of the Gormyre Refuge stone. When I first viewed the stone I could not see anything at all on its front and put the stone down to being of possible prehistoric nature and simply a boundary marker of sorts. After taking shots at low light levels, I can now see some remains of what appears to be the Maltese Cross originally described (or Cross of Lorraine/Potent Cross?) on the front of the stone. The stone has been badly damaged with the upper cross area heavily scarred. This would add to the three other known Refuge stones in the area. J.K.
