NT17NE 68 1902 7660

Contractors' excavations on the site of the former cafe at the corner of Cramond Glebe Road North revealed no trace of Roman occupation. The only feature located comprised a number of large boulders, apparently laid deliberately. A sherd of medieval pottery was found wedged between two of the boulders.'
