Field Visit (1 September 1926)

Newbridge Inn.

The inn at Newbridge, a hamlet at the western extremity of the county, stands at the cross roads. It is an L-shaped house, comprising a ‘laich’ floor and two upper storeys built of rubble, harled. The gables are crow-stepped. On the entrance is cut the date 1683.
