Archaeological Notes
NT28NE 8 c. 27 87.
A house of Dominican Friars at Kinghorn is mentioned in a charter of 1388, but this charter is very probably spurious and the existence of a monastery here may be regarded as very dubious.
D E Easson 1957.
No further information was acquired during fieldwork to either confirm or disprove the existence of this supposed house of Dominican Friars.
Visited by OS (W D J) 2 March 1959.
