Archaeology Notes

NT53SE 4 5914 3168.

(NT 5914 3168) Mr. Stirling showed two gold coins, found by his father in debris at St. Moden's Chapel, Dryburgh. These coins with seven others kept by the Earl of Buchan had been enclosed in a small box. The coins are Jacobus Demies of James I, 1406-1436-7 and are well preserved.
