NT53SW 21 543 336.

"A little to the SW of Dingleton, (NT 543 336) there was a famous cross, yet called Crosshillhead, but anciently the Halesing of St Wada, for these that come from the South had first a view of the Church here, and the tomb of St Waldere".

A Milne 1743

St Waltheof or Waldeve died AD 1160.
