Archaeology Notes

NX29NW 39 225 992

The grave of John Semple and Thomas McClorgan, Covenanters shot in 1685, is in Old Dailly churchyard. It is marked by an obelisk erected in 1825; at its foot lies the old monument - its inscription is still legible.

J H Thomson 1903.
