Archaeological Notes

NX75SE 6 7984 5145.

On display in Kirkcudbright Museum is a Ne flint fabricator about 2" (51mm) long. It was found in the garden of the Commercial Hotel, Auchencairn. Presented by Mrs Scott, Dundrennan (Accession no.3226).

The garden of the former Commercial Hotel, now a private house, is centred at NX 7984 5145. Mrs Scott is not known at Dundrennan.
