A Dominican friary in Dumfries is listed (NLS MS. 22.1.14, 153f; Spottiswoode 1677). This entry is erroneous, as is the reference (RMS iv, No.32) to the lands of the Friars Preachers (rectius Friars Minor) in Dumfries (NX 9776) in 1579.
